#411 Crushed Limestone: The gold standard for top-dressing. It consists of angular crushed stone (about 3/4 inch down to dust). When compacted with water, the dust acts like a cement binder, locking the larger stones into a hard, pavement-like surface.

#304 Crushed Limestone: Slightly larger than #411 (up to 2 inches in size) but also contains dust. Perfect for heavy-duty driveways, base layer establishment, and agricultural access roads.

#1 and #2 Base Stone: Large, fist-sized clean stone used strictly for building the deepest foundation layer of a brand new driveway or expanding a turnaround pad in soft soil.
