How We Fix Potholes

Find the water: we measure where water is pooling and why it isn’t running off to the edges.

Loosen the base: we break up the driveway down to the depth of the deepest hole, so the dip itself goes, not just the loose stone in it.

Blend and grade: the existing stone is mixed back together and graded out, taking away the “bowl” that holds water.

Compact: the area is compacted as its own step into a firm surface that sheds water.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do my potholes come back after I fill them with gravel?
Because the “bowl” shape of the pothole still exists in the hard dirt below. Until that bowl is loosened and leveled with the surrounding base, water keeps collecting there and blows out the new stone.
Do you offer spot repairs?
We usually recommend a Drive Restore™ instead of spot repairs, because if one section is failing, the crown on the rest of the driveway is usually going too. If the rest of the drive is sound, a Drive Rake may be enough, and we will tell you.
How long does repair take?
It depends on the length of the drive and how much reshaping it needs. Your written proposal states the expected time, and the work carries our 90-day workmanship warranty, as written in our proposal terms.
